Looking for support at home, now that you have been thrust into a homeschooling situation? We have a new program called Parent Implemented Interventions to help you.
Louisa Libertelli-Dunn stands ready to help. She has a masters in special education and thirty years of working with children from birth to age 22+ – all with a unique and wonderful mix of strengths and weaknesses. She will starts by reviewing your child’s medical diagnostic information as well as any other reports, and your current IEP if you have one. Then, she will meet with you by phone or on Zoom to discuss your priorities. Together, you will decide what kind of goals to work on together. She will provide you with ideas and inspiration – we can make it!
Initial Consultation = FREE (And we do have some grant funding to provide for additional services.)
Also, keep in mind that IEPs only cover goals related to education – what is educationally necessary might not be the only therapy needed. Your insurance or other resources may cover other therapies that are medically necessary to help your child achieve many life goals. And, many parents have goals for their child that are not covered by an IEP. You should share your priorities and dreams with Louisa during intake. Let’s play our way into a new future with our kids!
